We're helping children all month.

JEFFERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL, Columbia, Mississippi

"These are my children, away from home."
- Angela Burkett, Principal, Jefferson Middle School, Mississippi

The school has taken in many hurricane evacuees. Some children are doing well, but others are still traumatized. Their parents are stressed or depressed. Some of them travel long hours to their jobs so they can provide food for their families, and their children hardly see them.

Jefferson is a public school, but uniforms are required and many of the new students don't have them. Please send these new or gently used items:

Send to Principal Angela Burkett, Jefferson Middle School , 611 Owens Street, Columbia, Mississippi 39429.

OPERATION FEEL BETTER - Our Card Gallery is now OPEN.
Make a get well card for a child in the hospital. Sick children and their parents will love even a simple card. But if you want to get fancy, GO FOR IT! We're receiving beautiful cards from all over. Thank you!

If you haven't made one yet, come on! Write "Feel Better", "I love you", "Have a good day", and other happy messages. Send your cards to:

Operation Feel Better
Do One Nice Thing
149 S. Barrington Ave. #279
Los Angeles, CA 90049-3310
We'll send the cards to children's hospitals.
